Danish Jazz Federation is the common organisation for jazz music in Denmark. The purpose of the organisation is to:
promote Danish jazz in Denmark and abroad
strenthen and raise the profile of Danish jazz
provide information and guidance
initiate Danish jazz projects
The Federation is funded by the Danish Arts Council's Committee for Music. Danish Jazz Federation
Besides acting as a knowledge centre for jazz, the Danish Jazz Federation also administers several funds which provide financial support to the Danish jazz scene, including the dynamic pool, which supports both national and international tours and the booking of foreign solo artists.
Professional musicians have their own national association, the Danish Jazz Musicians Association, primarily organising workshops, courses, master classes etc. for its members. Danish Jazz Musicians Association
