The winners of the twelve categories were awarded at the show in Tønder and several of the nominees were performing. This year the jury also introduced three new special-prices called: Danish Music Awards – Folk Special Price, the P4-price and The Danish Folk Council special price.

Song Album of the Year: Sussie Nielsen – Pigens morgen (GO’ Danish Folk Music)
Danish Blues album of the year: Theessink, Nalle & Møller – Goin’ Down Slow 2 (Marsk Music)
Country album of the year: Lasse Helner – At Memphis Station (My Way Music)
Folk Album from Abroad of the Year: Knut Reiersrud, Iver Kleive – Nåde over nåde (Kirkelig Kulturverksted)
DMA-Folks Special price: Lang Linken. The band received DMA-Folks statuette designed by the artist Hans Krull.
P4-special price: Klondyke.
The Danish Folk Council-price: Anders Christensen received a check on 10.000 d.kr. for his research in the field of traditional songs, dance and music.
