3 copyright societies administer the rights of the performing artists:
Gramex administers the rights of performing artists in connection with public performances, i.e. when music is played on the radio or television, in discotheques or shops, etc. Gramex also administers the rights of recording companies and producers in connection with public performances of music released by them.

Copy-Dan administers the rights of copyright holders, performing artists and producers in connection with secondary copying, e.g. photocopying, of music and lyrics.
