The two major international music fairs are MIDEM in Cannes and Popkomm in Berlin. On behalf of the Danish Arts Council's Music Committee the Danish Arts Agency's Music Centre organises Danish stands at these fairs. The stands function as a meeting place for the Danish music business: Major and independent record labels, music publishers, music managements and organisations. The Danish music business participates at the fairs in order to find distribution and licensing for Danish music, to be updated and to establish international networks.

Music Export Denmark, MXD, organises Danish showcases at a number of international music festivals and fairs, such as:

The Danish Jazz Federation organises Nordic presence and stand together with other Nordic organisations at:

• Folk Alliance in North America
• Showcase Scotland in Glasgow

World Music Denmark organises stand for Danish world music bands at:

• Womex in Sevilla
• Popkomm in Berlin
