Danish music exports in figures
Danish music exports have been calculated in statistics since 1997. Every year, revenues from exports of Danish music and music-related products are charted and analysed. Since 2005 MXD, Music Export Denmark has been responsible for the yearly music export report.

The statistics are prepared in such a way as to make it as easy as possible to compare the results with corresponding figures from Finland, Norway and Sweden.

The information is collected from Statistics Denmark and the copyright and performing rights organisations KODA, NCB and Gramex. A questionnaire survey has also been undertaken among Danish record companies regarding their exports and their licensing revenues from abroad.
