On March 31, the day of the transfer of  Virgin Islands to USA, which is celebrated annually, the orchestra takes part in a ceremony at the local parliament in the town of Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas. In the evening New Jungle Orchestra gives a second concert .

April 1 the orchestra travels to St. Croix, where it will appear in an afternoon concert which is also a part of the celebration. 

Besides Pierre Dørge, the orchestra consists of Irene Becker, Jakob M. Mygind, Morten E. Carlsen, Kasper W. Tranberg, Martin Andersen and Henry Ayi-Solomon.
