The Diamant Ensemble are performing at the prestigious German festival Heidelberger Frühling 19 April and in Wigmore Hall in London 22 April. Carl Nielsen: 3 Pieces for Piano Op. 59 (arr. Hans Abrahamsen for wind quintet & string quintet) is on the programme along with Mozart, Schostakovich, and Dvorak.

The musicians of the Diamant Ensemble are leading members of the Royal Opera Orchestra and the Danish National Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of solo oboist Max Artved from the DNSO. Ensemble of the Royal Library and resident in the Dronningesal in the Black Diamond in Copenhagen, they give seven concerts a year in the Dronningesal with international soloists including Leif Ove Andsnes and Olli Mustonen.
