The music programme of the Images of the Middle East Festival presents 26 orchestras, bands and soloists from Lebanese death metal over Palestinian hiphop to Turkish sufi clubbing, folk and world music. The broad programme reflects the development on the music scene of the Middle East which is not possible to characterize and reduce to one single genre, but embraces the global music scene.
