Trio Aristos, who won the prestigious Danish Radio Chamber Music Competition in 2006, won first prize at the 4. International Max Reger competition for string trio and string quartet. 11 ensembles from 8 different countries took part in the competition based in Sounderhause, Germany. In the motivation the Jury mentioned the “flexible interplay”  and the “individual virtuosity” of the ensemble. The first prize has already led to several concert offers in Germany.
