Again this year Denmark is represented at the big international music trade show Popkomm in Berlin which takes place 20-22 September. 36 companies will be present at the Danish stand which includes record companies, music publishers, booking agencies, managers, and festivals. The Danish participation is supported by the Danish Arts Council Music Committee and is organised by the Danish Arts Agency Music Centre.

Popkomm is not only a music fair for the music business industry it is also a music festival, and once again there is going to be an all-Danish night during the POPKomm festival in Berlin. Outlandish, Powersolo, Infernal, Junior Senior, Teitur, and Spleen United are the six Danish export aces for the concert, which is to take place on Wednesday 20th September.

The venue for the Danish campaign is going to be the big, prestigious Club Postbahnhof in the old East Berlin – the very venue which hosted the successful Danish night last year -  a night which resulted in a lot of praise and a genuine hype around Danish music in general. The Danish showcase is arranged by MXD - Music Export Denmark.

There will also be several other bands performing at different venues during the Popkomm festival. This includes the bands like: Gob Squad, Moi Caprice, Cartridge, Natasja & The Ragga Pack, Baby Woodrose, Burra Head, Lack, Menfolk, Munck/Johnson, Gravy, Halph, The Unit, The Broken Beats, and Fast Gallows.
