Wundergrund is the name of a new festival taking place for the first time in Copenhagen from October 26 - November 12. Ensembles such as Alpha, Carion, Copenhagen Saxophone Quartet, Nordlys, Pace - a total of 15 ensembles from the classical world will meet composers and musicians from the jazz, rock and electronica scene, for example jazz percussion player Marilyn Mazur, jazz saxophone player Fredrik Lundin, DJ/composer Anders Remmer and the rock/pop composer and singer Tobias Trier.

This first festival will take place during Copenhagen Music Week taking place also for the first time from October 25 - November 2 in the week leading up to the MTV Europe Music Awards in Copenhagen.

The Wundergrund festival is organised by SNYK, the Secretariat for Contemporary Music.
