The Danish electronica mixer and musician Trentemøller is one of the hottest subjects on the clubbing scene right now.
Trentemøller’s first full-length album, The Last Resort, was accompanied by an unusual amount of hype before its release in October 2006, and the attention has not stopped. The Last Resort was voted 'Album of the year 2006' in Germany’s biggest magazine for electronic music Groove Mag, and the French music-magazine Trax has as well voted the The Last Resort as their 'Album of the year 2006'. Furthermore, the listeners of The BBC Radio One Essential Mix have voted Trentemøller’s mix as 'The Essential Mix of the year 2006'.
Latest Trentemøller has made an appearance at the media festival Netmage 07 in Bologna as a part of David Lynch’s and Angelo Badalamentis’ show. Angelo Badalamenti is the composer of the soundtrack of David Lynch’s productions. Trentemøller played material from The Last Resort as well as material composed especially for this occasion, which was accompanied by visuals by David Lynch.
